The designing of a school curriculum requires a vision. Detailed evaluation and improvements are made year after year in the curriculum. This has made it imperative for us to devise the most effective method for the implementation of the requirements of the curriculum. In an academic year, the school has to have 210 working days out of which 180 days are devoted to intensive teaching and the additional 30 days are set aside for examinations and co-curricular activities.

The pre-primary wing of the school consists of Play Group, LKG and UKG and caters to the needs and demands of early childhood. Bearing in mind that the foundation of a child’s personality is laid and two third of his intellect formed at this age, we have created an environment and a system of teaching which is entirely child friendly. Formal learning of the three R’S is introduced in Play Group & LKG. It finds a more prominent place in the UKG curriculum, which includes recognition, reading and writing of English and Hindi alphabets and small words and also basic arithmetical concepts.

The syllabus become more broad based at this level and gradually the young learner is exposed to a wide range of subjects and study materials which are suitably graded. Apart from Mathematics, English, Tamil and Hindi, subjects like General Science and Social Science are introduced. Computer science is introduced in class I. As early as class I students learn to work on computers in the multimedia lab which has been specially equipped to meet the needs of the young learners.

Smart Class

To understand anything, visual effect is very important. So, we have introduced chapter wise smart classes for all subjects.

Experiential Learning

To create a sustainable learning approach, we combine our core and supplementary curriculum through the board-prescribed content and innovative learning approaches. This is further complemented with contemporary teaching techniques, special programmes and examples from everyday life to develop the students’ understanding beyond textbooks.

Educational Excursion

‘Motivation creates interest’ - That is the reason every year we take the students to Educational excursion on merit basis. Sometimes students are also taken to nearby places like museums, movies and magic shows to develop their thinking outlook.

Annual Picnic

Every year in the month of December students are taken to interesting picnic spots where they learn the lesson of sharing and friendship.

Health Camp

‘Health is Wealth’ – Therefore, every year we organize free Health check-up camp in collaboration with Reputed Health Organizations for our students.

Annual Function

Every year in the month of July, the school celebrates its foundation day through prize giving ceremony and cultural concert in Auditorium. The annual fest usually continues for two days.

According to CBSE curriculum all the students are given fitness classes everyday under the strict guidance of proficient teachers.
